“There’s a joint focus on one mission”
“I really like the togetherness at FinDock,” says Chris, who works remotely from the U.K.
“Our teams are spread across countries, but we still experience a strong, healthy culture. There’s a joint focus on one mission: we all want to make the product amazing so our customers and partners can be successful. Everything that’s good about the job stems from that.”
Incidentally, Chris has seen FinDock from two different perspectives. He was introduced to FinDock when working for a customer’s company and later decided to switch jobs. “Back then, the people at Findock went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the most out of the solution,” he says. “Our interactions were very positive—so much so that in some instances, we formed friendships. When I eventually joined FinDock, I just continued those connections I’d already made.”
“We try to overwhelm customers and partners with our support”
What Chris loves about his job is that he can get to know customers and equip them with knowledge. “We always try to bring them to a point where we exceed expectations,” he explains. “After they’ve signed the contract, we start a relationship with them. I like embarking on that journey with customers. It starts with, ‘How do we install FinDock?’ But ultimately, we answer the question, ‘How do we make this product impact what we do as a company?’”
This aptly reflects the general approach of the Customer Success Team:
“We don’t just answer questions. We really try to understand our customers’ and partners’ needs, so we can overwhelm them with our support. I find it very rewarding to fix problems and go the extra mile, so I can put a genuine smile on people’s faces.”
What Chris appreciates is that he gets a lot of freedom in doing so. “Hartger knows I am trustworthy and work really hard,” he says, “so I get to adopt my own approach. That really aligns with my personality.”
