On Sunday, May 26th, we successfully rolled out the latest FinDock release. This update brings a host of enhancements and new features to improve your experience. Below are a few key highlights. For more detailed and technical information, please refer to the release notes.
1.Track and optimize performance using Google Tag Manager
In our latest release we have introduced support of Google Tag Manager (GTM) with Giving Pages. GTM provides a range of options, allowing you to add various scripts, such as Facebook pixel and consent tracking mechanisms.
Why does it matter?
The integration of Google Tag Manager brings several valuable enhancements for customers, including:
Enhanced tracking capabilities: GTM allows for detailed tracking of user interactions, such as button clicks or form submissions, providing deeper insights into user behavior.
Optimization through A/B testing: Enables A/B tests to optimize user engagement and conversion rates. For instance, you can test two landing page versions—one offering a discounted annual subscription and another with monthly options—to see which performs better.
Integration of additional scripts: Supports adding scripts like Facebook pixel for improved marketing and retargeting efforts. For instance, a Facebook pixel can track user interactions on your website and target them with relevant ads based on their interactions with your website.
Compliance and consent tracking: Facilitates the implementation of consent tracking mechanisms essential for regulatory compliance.
2.Introducing Worldpay MOTO and multi-merchant support
More Flexibility with Worldpay MOTO
We have expanded our MOTO (Mail Order Telephone Order) component to support Worldpay alongside Stripe.
Why does it matter?
By including FinDock’s Virtual Terminal in business processes, organizations can easily process card payments over the phone, from offline forms, or from “cards on file” in a secure Salesforce environment, connected to your Payment Service Provider of choice while allocating funds to the right campaign or channel.
With the latest update, customers now have more options and can choose between Stripe or Worldpay for their MOTO payments, enhancing flexibility and customization in their payment processing workflows.
New Multi-Merchant capability for Worldpay
Our Worldpay Corporate Gateway extension now includes multi-merchant support, allowing customers to use multiple Worldpay accounts within a single Salesforce environment.
Why does it matter?
There are numerous use cases for managing multiple organizational entities within a single Salesforce environment. This includes scenarios such as operating across multiple countries, local chapters, or departments, each with its own account and possibly distinct legal entities. It’s also ideal for complex organizational structures, like a foundation and an association under one roof but with separate legal entities.
Additionally, this capability is valuable for splitting payouts when the payment service provider lacks this feature. For instance, with Worldpay, it’s best practice to separate online and MOTO channels. It also allows for the configuration of specific settings, such as 3DS challenges, enhancing security and customization on your website.
3.Streamlined permission management with new FinDock Permission Set Groups
We have introduced new permission set groups to ensure that access is tailored to user roles, reducing the risk of excessive permissions and enhancing security. These groups are designed to be modular and automated, making customization simpler and more effective.
The permission groups include: Integration, Administrator and Service agent. Each group is crafted to address the specific needs and access requirements of different user roles, from non-person user actions to day-to-day payment operations.
Why does it matter?
By grouping permissions based on functionality, administrators can more easily ensure that users have access only to the features necessary for their roles, reducing security risk from excessive permissions. Additionally, automating the assignment of permissions through groups minimizes the potential for human error.
An update on FinDock for Fundraising
On October 17th, 2023, coinciding with the launch of Nonprofit Cloud for Fundraising (NPC), FinDock was introduced as one of the select launching ISV partners with its new integration for NPC. Since that initial release, our solution entered an open pilot phase and has now progressed to a beta testing phase after incorporating active improvements based on customer feedback. We are delighted to see NPC customers already utilizing FinDock for Fundraising, and with the necessary adjustments made, we continue to enhance our platform. Currently, 13 customers are either actively implementing or have already gone live with the integration. Read more about how FinDock extends the Nonprofit Cloud for Fundraising.
