Getting to know TwoPurpose

Tell us a bit about yourself! What’s your role and what do you love most about it?

TwoPurpose is a Dutch company that has been active since 2013, dedicated to empowering mission-driven organizations through modern technology—especially Salesforce. Our team has a deep understanding of nonprofit processes and industry best practices, helping organizations maximize their impact.

If you could describe your company in three words, what would they be?

Transparent, Value-Adding, Entrepreneurial.

What’s a fun fact about your company that not many people know?

We founded the TwoPurpose Foundation, which directly contributes to social causes. One of our recent initiatives? We bought a cow for a Syrian family that was considering fleeing their home. Thanks to this cow, they can now sustain themselves and support other families in their community.

What’s the most unusual request or unique project you’ve ever worked on?
One standout is Mission Without Borders International. The Mission supports families in a number of Eastern European Countries, funded by private donations from 12 different countries in Europe, North America and even South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Together with FinDock, we managed to integrate 12 different payment systems and providers into one Salesforce and FinDock instance.

What makes you unique as a Salesforce Partner?

Unique about TwoPurpose is that we have a 100% focus on nonprofits. With a wealth of expertise in fundraising, program management, and marketing automation, we offer a complete package tailored for nonprofit organizations looking to maximize their potential.

Working with FinDock

How did you first hear about FinDock, and what made you decide to partner with us?

We’ve been there from the start! TwoPurpose (then known as g-company) was FinDock’s first implementation partner (back when FinDock was still StepOrange). No other partner in the Netherlands has as much experience with FinDock as we do—over 11 years of collaboration and innovation!

What’s your favorite FinDock feature, and why?

There’s a lot to love, but if we had to pick, we’d say the FinDock API and Guided Matching. FinDock provides a seamless way to manage all payment processes within Salesforce, ensuring efficiency, flexibility, and better financial oversight.

Can you share a memorable success story where FinDock made a significant difference?

Our entire journey with FinDock has been a success story. From pioneering its early days to today’s mature collaboration, our partnership has always been about delivering the best solutions for mission-driven organizations. The impact we’ve seen on nonprofits—enabling them to manage donations effortlessly and strengthen donor relationships—has been incredibly rewarding.

Challenges and solutions

What’s one of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in a project and how did you overcome it?

One of the toughest challenges is implementing integrated platforms for organizations with multiple fragmented financial systems. We tackled this by leveraging Salesforce and FinDock to create a unified solution, streamlining payment processing and financial operations.

Where did you see Salesforce + FinDock make a big difference for a customer? What challenge did it solve?

The combination of Salesforce and FinDock has revolutionized nonprofit fundraising and donation management. By integrating payments seamlessly into CRM, organizations now have better donor insights, more efficient payment processing, and improved fundraising outcomes.

Industry insights

What’s a current trend in the tech, IT, Salesforce, or payment world that excites you?

We’re excited about the increasing adoption of advanced technology in the nonprofit sector. Organizations are becoming more data-driven, automating processes, and using Salesforce to enhance their impact like never before.

If you could wave a magic wand and change one thing about the tech industry, what would it be?

We’d love to see even stronger collaboration between tech companies and nonprofits—leveraging innovation to create tangible, positive change for social causes worldwide.

Looking forward

What are your future plans or upcoming projects that you’re excited about?

TwoPurpose continues to focus on empowering mission-driven organizations through technology. We’re also expanding our impact through the TwoPurpose Foundation, supporting more social initiatives worldwide.
